Leticia Basauri is the owner and director of Victoria Transcultural Clinical Center (VTCC), which she founded in March 2001. She is a psychologist with over 30 years of experience working with members of multicultural communities in Mexico, Canada, and the United States.
She has earned two post-graduate degrees in Clinical Psychology in Mexico, and has completed Doctoral coursework in Clinical Psychology in Canada. She recently received her Masters in Clinical Social Work (MSW) from George Mason University, and is currently working towards her Virginia license in Clinical Social Work.
She has trained in evidence-based clinical modalities, TF-CBT practices, and trauma informed approaches. Ms. Basauri is a long-time resident of Northern Virginia with her husband Ignacio, where she is a mother of two grown sons and grandmother to five wonderful grandchildren.
